Esther, Ezra & Nehemiah

One of the most enduring themes in the Bible is that, no matter how desperate Israel's situation becomes, God consistently raises up intercessors who are deeply attuned to His heart and are willing to go to great lengths to see His purposes fulfilled. This theme is powerfully illustrated in the books of Ezra, Nehemiah, and Esther. Ezra and Nehemiah, driven by their unwavering devotion to God, led Israel back from exile, restoring worship, renewing commitment to God’s Word, and rebuilding the walls of Jerusalem to protect the city from its enemies. Their leadership and intercession sparked revivals that transformed the nation.

Similarly, the story of Queen Esther, an orphan who rose from obscurity to become the Queen of Persia, shows how God positions His people for pivotal moments. In a time of great crisis, when the Jewish people faced annihilation, Esther courageously interceded with the king, saving her people and securing their future.

This course explores these three powerful books, revealing how God uses intercessors to bring about His will in the most challenging times. By studying the lives of Ezra, Nehemiah, and Esther, we will be inspired to connect with God’s heart and take our stand as intercessors in our own generation.
