The Book of Isaiah

"In the year that King Uzziah died, I saw the Lord." (Isaiah 6:1)

In a time of national shaking, when the northern tribes of Israel were on the verge of destruction and Judah stood at the brink of collapse, God raised up a prophet to call His people to behold the coming King. Isaiah was thrust onto the stage in an hour of transition, declaring hope in the midst of judgment and pointing to the One who would bring salvation, righteousness, and peace to the nations.

Isaiah’s breathtaking prophecies unveil Jesus—the Branch of the Lord, Immanuel, Mighty God, Everlasting Father, Suffering Servant, Redeemer, and King. He is the Son of David who would die for His people, deliver them, and establish His righteous rule over the earth.

Within Isaiah, we see the stark contrast between the depths of human sin and rebellion and the unfathomable glory of God's redemptive plan. The book lays bare the consequences of turning from God—judgment, exile, and devastation—yet interwoven within these warnings are the most stunning promises of restoration, renewal, and the coming reign of the Messiah.
